House arrest, you, really! Not involved with some dodgy coal mining license scam, with Obeid, Macdonald, & Obeid?
I’m not surprised your discontinuing the Sunday Zoom meeting the numbers recently they have never been big and some of the other articles in forums were focusing on girl’s nights out as soon as they could be held. Will I consider promoting & hostessing a meeting of some sort, probably not I’m a regular with 2 or 3 groups down south in Melbourne. All of the groups have had limited get togethers and there are plans for more, us Mexicans south of the border all know how quickly that can change in less than a week. Welcome to Lockdown 5.0, maybe the Zoom meetings are part of the new character of Victoria.
The really important issue with Glady’s new rules is the wellbeing & mental health of all those Sydney siders who are no longer able to go shopping for designer Handbags at Westfield Bondi Junction because they can. I’m no expert in mental health but I have heard that the withdrawal effect from constant recreational retail therapy can be very severe.
Also, there’s the Ball at the Carrington on the 28 August, I know you and I aren’t going for different reasons. I hear numerous news updates on the radio through out the day and the COVID numbers are not going in the right direction for a packed party in 6 weeks. Then once we get into September, we’re heading into the Spring wedding season and venues will be for the most part booked out until next year, hmmm.
How’s life south of the border, just another day in lockdown with the occasional shower, I’ve attached a cartoon for you in the spirit of, The Shovel. It gave me something creative to do please enjoy, I look forward to your reply.

Hi Adrian, thank you for your update on conditions on the south side of the harbour in Sydney, sounds like your still safe on the north shore. You may need to review the term “Lockdown,” on the news tonight I heard Gladys is rebranding the term to “Stay Home.” It makes it sound like southern Sydney has been naughty and sent home from school and been suspended for 7 days.
Donut days in Melbourne! We have only had 3 in the last week and 4 in the last month, were not free from the lurgy virus yet.
To hopefully cheer you up I posted some donut pictures of days to look forward to once Glady’s, Stay Home Ultimation is withdrawn

Hi Adrian, I wouldn’t worry to much about getting into Queensland, I’d be more concerned with whether Gladys will allow you back into the freedoms millions of citizens enjoy south of the border. In the mean time
A plane is travelling to Queensland…A plane is on its way to Queensland , when a blonde in economy class gets up and moves to the first class seats. The Flight attendant watches her do this and asks to see her ticket. She then tells the blonde that she paid for economy class and that she will have to sit in the back. The blonde replies, “I’m blond, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Queensland and I’m staying right here.”
The Flight attendant goes into the cockpit and tells the pilot and the co-pilot that there’s a blonde bimbo sitting in First Class, that belongs in economy and won’t move back to her seat. The Co-pilot goes back to the blonde and tries to explain that because she only paid for economy she will have to leave and return to her seat. The blonde replies, “I’m blond, I’m beautiful, I’m going to Queensland and I’m staying right here.”
The co-pilot tells the pilot that he probably should have the police waiting when they land to arrest this blonde woman who won’t listen to reason. The pilot says, “You say she is a blonde? I’ll handle this, I’m married to a blonde. I speak blonde.” He goes back to the blonde and whispers in her ear, and she says, “Oh, I’m sorry.” and gets up and goes back to her seat in economy.
The Flight attendant and Co-pilot are amazed and ask him what he said to make her move without any fuss. I told her, “First Class isn’t going to Queensland.” -

Hi Adrian, you did say hopefully the “NEW TGR” website would be up & running before the 7th, if anyone does complain its been a tad slow coming on line. Dump the blame on Vitoria because its a long weekend down here in the south and I’m enjoying a slow weekend. I haven’t had a full look around the website yet but so far it looks good and a great update on our old website.
