I know that there is a section where we can put web links for things with a transgender interest but I haven’t found a thread/section for anything else. I’ve put a couple of links in the “Cds’ And Engineers” thread but what I’m wondering is “is there people here on this site with other hobbies etc. or should we keep TR for just transgender stuff? Moderator thoughts would be appreciated here as well as replies from other members of course. I’m just thinking that maybe we can broaden our horizons and thus friendships and so on will be generated and strengthened etc.

    What do you think folks?

My view is that if members want to talk about something that is not well catered for elsewhere then we create a forum – after all it doesn’t cost anything. But it isn’t worth creating a forum if it is only going to get two posts a year!
The only forum I think that has been vetoed was a suggestion to have a general ‘health’ forum. But that is a topic catered for much better by dedicated ‘health’ web portals.

The idea that I had was a thread here that we could use to share info. such as web links between members here that have common interests and so on. I wasn’t planning to start topics as such that weren’t actually transgender but just share basic info. about our hobbies and the like. I don’t know if I got the message through in my original post here so I thought it best to make the actual point just in case, I think that I’ve got it right now.

This sounds like a good idea to get to know more about what we do in our lives. One idea is that people can put photos ( say of a project they are doing, a pond or art work, a pet etc) on Flickr then a link can be provided and no bandwidth or leftover photos need be a problem for TR.
