The 2010 Canberra Christmas Party
We are in the preliminary stages of planning the Canberra Transgender Xmas Dinner for 2010.
We would like to guage responses from any TR members who would be interested in attending our event, thus;
Date – – – will either be 4th or 11th December 2010. Any preferences due to conflicts with other committments?
Bear in mind that Transfusion (if it happens!) is usually held over one of the last couple of weekends in November, so i’m trying to ensure there is a 2-3 week gap between the events!Cost – – – will be approx $60. I’m trying to negotiate a better deal with the restaurant dependant on a large guest attendance – I need all the leverage I can get!
Venue – – – will be within the Australian National University Campus! One of the feedback items last year was that the venue was a little ‘too public’. This ANU based restuarant is fairly secluded, so it ‘safe’ for those who are nervous in the public arena!
Menu – – – very tasty and varied! I expect there will be vegetarian and gluten / dairy free options, but I have yet to confirm these dietry alternatives!
Bookings – – – umm, i’m hoping the webmistress of TrannyTix will assist in that regard! I’ll confirm ticketing arrangements at a later date!
If you have any other suggestions / requests, let me know and i’ll do my best to incorporate them into the dinner party.
But foremost, I need to know how many are interested in attending!!!

Count me in! Thank you for considering those with other dietary requirements such as vegetarians and my gluten and dairy-free friends

Oh gluton. I read it as glutton. Would definately be interested if there was a glutton option. LOL
Thanks for the info Clare but would only be able to commit to one xmas function so will have to wait and see what’s happening with TRansfusion this year.Cheers,
