Hi everyone….
I just had to tell you this funny story that happened to me today.I had to take Mum to the Hospital for another Mammogramm regarding her breast cancer.
I left her there while I did some shopping and then went to see if she was ready.
Both my Mum and my Dad tend to have fat deposits high across the tummy area and me, being quite overweight at the moment……well, you get the picture.Through the corridors I went and then waiting at the hospital lifts.
In front of me was this European middle-aged guy pushing his Mum in a wheelchair.
A couple of young nurses joined us and then we all got into the lift.He smiled at me and said “how long?”. I said “how long what?”
He pointed to my still large tummy and repeated “how long?”
I immediately found myself replying…“Oh, gee, too long !!” Then he said…“Boy or Girl?”Barely managing to hold in my smile I said…. ” Oh, I still don’t know yet !”
I so laughed when I got out of the lift…….and I’m still smiling !!

I worked in a shop for a while, when I was a lot younger and sillier. I was serving a lady who was surrounded by a pram and no less than 4 young children. My boss was standing beside me chatting to the lady, when I noticed she had a perfectly round belly sticking straight out in front. Quite innocently I asked her when the next one was due. She looked up at me with a slightly dismayed look and said I’m not pregnant. I didn’t quite know how to proceed with this conversation so I shut up and turned to my boss for inspiration, He’d vanished, completely!! I later found him out the back in uncontrollable fits of laughter, he felt bad for the woman but the look on my face was apparently priceless.
Sorry Monique I know what you meant in your story but it just reminded me of this incident, so I had to share my embarrasment.

My story above is not the only time I must admit ….. I was at the local shops getting a pie for my Mum who is quite ill.
This beautiful young woman from the Pacific Islands walked in and after a few minuites turned to me and said…“excuse me for asking but are you pregnant?” I said back to her…“why no dear, just too many pies !” I didnt know whether to laugh or cry but I decided to laugh ! LolHugs

Perfection is some thing others always have i think , but you must look fab that people see a woman, bought a top the other day gave me the pregers look, suckin in made not a scrap of diff, still not sure i would be so convincing as to be thought preggy!

Wow…where did you get that top? It really comes in handy sometimes ’cause if I really need a seat somewhere,
