  All About My Mother

  Manuela, a nurse and single mother in her late 30s, must come to terms with the tragic loss of her only son, Esteban, when he is struck by a car. In memory of her son, Manuela leaves Madrid and goes to Barcelona in search of Esteban’s father. However, the man that she left behind 18 years ago when she was pregnant is now a transvestite named Lola. Pedro Almodovar’s film won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film 2000.

  Hi Julie, thanks for the tip. I love Almodovar’s films and haven’t seen this one. It should be a good one and Penelope Cruz is a bonus.
