Pattaya [Thailand] Ladyboy Gang Beats Three People And Chases Them On Motorbikes
PATTAYA – July 8, 2012 [PDN] Two women were beaten up in the restroom of a pub in Third Pattaya Road by a group of people led by 2 ladyboys. The victims were later assaulted again in the parking lot, along with a male friend who had come to pick up his girlfriend. The gang also chased the fleeing victims on motorbikes before escaping.

we’ve never communicated before & so I hope my reply is not taken the wrong way.
Other than the fact that khatoey (lady boys) are included in the news article, I don’t really understand why you posted this. All persons are capable of committing crime & all news articles are potentially sensationalist.
Having lived & worked in Thailand for a number of years & also having a Thai partner for 21 years now, I am fully aware of the variability of ‘facts’ in the reporting of news in Thailand but possibly others aren’t.
I hope my comments are not misunderstood. -
Have to agree that the “lady-boy” label was perhaps a bit of sensationalist reporting. Leaving aside the obvious question of how do you know you are being attacked by a lady-boy (full surgical examination whilst wrestling on the floor?) … the article does say

The reason for my posting a link to the Pattaya [Thailand] story is to show that there are all sorts of people in all parts of society.
