Guest12/10/2013 at 3:51 amI have been seeing the doctors at Northside Clinic for a year or so, and I can’t speak more highly of the doctors and staff. I’m always treated with kindness and respect, they use the appropriate pronouns, and the GP’s I’ve seen have a brilliant understanding of gender differences.

Guest14/10/2013 at 6:34 pmFantastic advice…. I live in the northern suburbs, but as I move on to the next phase of my life and think about the practicalities of moving into my own place a new doctor is one of them…. I can hopefully consider these guys.

Guest16/10/2013 at 11:33 amI too can recommend Northside. The staff are friendly, and the GP I see is great. Anyone will feel comfortable seeing any of their highly experienced gender friendly GP’s.
Parking is the only problem you may face …

Guest05/11/2014 at 2:17 pmEchoing all those posts above; however since the last touch on this thread was over twelve months ago I’ll throw in my two cents.
At this time this practice is only taking new patients within the GLBTI community; as advised by recorded message on their phone system, and immediately by their staff when making a booking as a new patient.
Additionally appointments are taken at the start of the month so first in first served and their appointment book fills quickly. I take their high patronage as a vote of confidence in them by their patients. The two above points may change with time so your mileage may vary. Neither difficult challenges either; as soon as I informed the staff when making my first booking as a new patient and that it was gender related they happily booked the next available appointment which was only two weeks from the time I called.
I met with Dr Jeff Willcox for a referral to psychologist. I was nervous walking in but felt comfortable quickly. He was brilliant! A great personality and approach. The other staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. I’d recommend this practice without hesitation.
Parking wasn’t an issue for me, lots of side streets park in; at 17:00 I had a park within half a block.

Deleted User29/10/2019 at 9:48 amThis thread is pretty old but I thought I would mention that they are taking bookings again NOW 29/10/19 as I have just booked in today for my first app so I can start HRT.
The booking is 4 weeks until I get in. -
I have been a client of this practice for 5 or 6 years and everyone I have been in contact with has been caring and respectful.
I highly recommend them, especially for gender and sexuality issues.
