I found this to be an interesting read and it was recently published in the Vancouver Times. It claims that the University of Victoria in British Columbia has one of the largest Archives of Transgender Material in the world. I have never thought much about transgender history and or associated publications of those times. There were certainly some pioneering activities and information out there and in an age without the great facility we have today such as TGR and similar communication and information sharing media around the world.

We worry about the prejudices these days, but those girls would have had their share of concerns in the past. Brave souls all. I am so grateful we have TgR and the immediacy and capacity to interact that it provides to us.

how true you are just imagine trying to be out back in those days where they used to dicriminate about everything that was not straight line wow thos woman sure had some “balls” so to speak we do have it so much better, and yes I am so greatful for TGR it has been my support network and would be lost without it.
