Defining the phrase “stocking stuffer”
How do to all on TGR,
With Christmas and gift giving just around the corner, as I understand it the term “stocking stuffer” is of American origin and refers to gathering a number of small gifts into the one “container”.
Now I’m not one to doubt this, but equally I would have thought that catching an errant toe or fingernail on a stocking, (which try as I may to avoid doing so, happens quite regularly), would, via the ladder that inevitably appears, would have exactly the same “stuffing” effect.
Only my credit card and the on line place I buy my hosiery really know how I feel about all this.

Hi girls
Trimmed nails before going out to dinnr, carefully, but still stuffed my tights.
It’s not a complete loss tho, can still be used to stuff my bra; if that counts.
But what a waste.

When the nail polish dries try moisturising your feet before you slip on your stockings.. Believe me it helps

Not real sure how moisturising feet will prevent stuffing tights. Found nails more nuisance
