  Event Calendar Removed from TgR

  I have removed the event calendar feature from the web site.
  The original intent was that anyone organising a formal or informal event could advertise it to other members.
  But the reality is that it just collected a few entries which were often not kept up to date.
  If this is not a feature of use to the wider community then it is best hidden – as it does seem to imply there are only a few social opportunities for us and in only a few states.

  We still have the Private Event and Public Event forum folders where events can be advertised. This is particularly suitable for notifications about one-off events.

  If anyone needs help in advertising an event just ask the admin/moderators.
