    Hi everyone

As we all know this time of year in Melbourne, it’s all about racehorses and women elegantly dressed to the nines in the latest fashions.

My beloved and I share a “service providor”, (details not required), whom for the last three or four years has sponsored a ladies day at a large provincial race meeting not far from here. Naturally, the ladies are all impeccably groomed and dressed to the nines for these occasions

I’ve always joked that her hubby should be given a wad of cash and “the boys should hit the pub and the greyhounds afterwards”.

This has never happened, so that’s why I’m crying “rac(e)ial and “gender”discrimination.

Then of course there is a logical solution.. Caty should be invited too..
what with her penchant of buying lovely, elegant 3 pierce ensembles (when they are on sale…) at Fella Hamilton, she would be right in her element. See my profile photos, the bronze one would be perfect. I actually do think of it as my “race day outfit”

Caty acknowledges her “mother of the Bride” long dresses and “Lady Catherine’s” 17th Century gown may look a touch out of place and we wont even mention that she would almost certainly be “very indiscreet in her underwear” if she even tried the above.

But we wont concentrate on that will we…. Ruins the “telling of the tale”

    Happy dressing

    Caty
