Air New Zealand are known for their very “quirky” saftey videos, this one features one of the well known actors cast in a dress and a wig. I’m no movie nut so I dont know the face or name and its a very brief sequence, but its at

First time I think anything even remotely connected with “gender diversity” has been used in such a way.

The actor comedian is Rhys Darby, (his name is shown at the beginning). But apart from this there have been quite a few ads where some form of cross dressing has been used. Obviously Caty has a life and gets out moire than I do. One particular ad, I can’t recall the product, but it had a guy trying to get discounts by dressing as a woman.

Yes I have flown on “Kiwi Air” recently, but it was my first and last trip O/S trip for the last 13 years and for the rest of me born days.

Our New Zealand clan can’t ever be accused of not having a sense of humour. I guess making light comedy of Dressing does allow people to be a bit more acceptant of other peoples needs. However, I’m not sure if the video empowers anyone at all ..
