  “Caught in Slips” Cricket Club fundraiser!

  Hi and Merry Christmas to all on TGR

  All too late”, cos it was held weeks ago, I recently saw a flyer in the local cricket club where they were having a “Miss, (insert name of Club/town here), 2016” Fund raising night, where upon pain of a $20.00 fine, all senior members had to come dressed in “formal wear, day wear, swimwear and know a bit about “current affairs”.

  (As an aside, it is not known if that certain Channel Seven fella who’s been in the “news” lately is a member!.)

  The photo on the flyer was of a rather flamboyant drag queen. Not “Aunt Caty’s” image at all”

  ANNNNYYYWAAAYYYYY.

  Caty knew that without a complete body shave the swimwear category would be out. But oh the possibilities in the other two !!!

  Ball gowns, high heels, jewellery , check.
  “Clever Secretary”, black skirt and jacket, chunky black heels, check
  “Off to the shops”,flat shoes, skirt and top.. check.

  But sigh, sadly, a/. she is not a member and b/. as has often been stated, the small town gossip mill would fry its bearings if she did make an appearance!.

  Dear Yachtie administrator,

  It’s Christmas, so I hope you will let this very funny “off topic” one through.

  There’s a big trimaran yacht moored in a bay near here named “BLUEY ZARZOFF”.
  All I can say is the owner must be convinced he has a very fast craft indeed!!!
