Its probably better to get an opinion from your oncologist or endocrinologist for an expert answer to that question.

effects of HRT itself can vary widely from one person to another so unwise to draw conclusions from others experiences.

I spent most of last year having chemo for pancreatic cancer and no problems with the HRT.
However it can be different for each of us (as Caroline eluded to)
You must discuss with your oncologist. Good luck with your treatment

I started HRT in May 2017 and chemotherapy two months later.
I had no side effects from the chemo apart from hair loss but I also had no physical effects from the hormones until after the chemo treatments ended.

Thirteen months later, I am very happy with my progress in the breast growth area having now attained a B cup and I am still growing.

My doctors and psychologist have all asked me if I know of anyone else who has been through both treatments at the same time and whether they or their medical team noted any interaction between the drugs.

Hi Caroline, thanks for your reply, it is my medicos who have asked me for information as they have not been involved in treatment of both conditions until I came along.
There is plainly little literature available to them as well so we should not miss the opportunity to add to medical knowledge of transgender people.

Thanks for your reply Vicky, you are correct in saying that we all have different experiences with our treatments but it is only in collecting all those histories that commonalities will be discovered and the knowledge base of treatment for transgender people will be expanded.

In that context I fully understand your question.
It would be nice for TGR. to assist the medicos
