  • TG interest, SBS Dateline Program on Wednesday 5th July 2006

Hi Ladies, Enya here, on the tail end of the SBS dateline program. there was a mention of next weeks program. What is featured is the story of a foreign TV current Affairs host who is TG. She looks gorgeous and the amazing part is, it’s in an Islamic country.
The shorts featured a makeup session and time on air. Certainly worth a look.
In NSW it is listed at 8:30pm. Check your guide if you reside elsewhere.
Perhaps we can discuss it on chat afterwards….

    Love & Hugs,
    Enya.

Details of the up-coming SBS-TV Dateline Program (Wed July 5 2006) 20:30 can be found here

UPDATE: (July 02 2006) The article about the story seems to have been pulled from the SBS Dateline web-page as of Sun July 02 2006

UPDATE: (July 04 2006) I called SBS – and they advise that the story has in fact been pulled, and it will now appear on a later ediition (not July 05 2006) of Dateline. I will post when the new broadcast details are available.

Aired on Sep 06 and will repeat on Sep 07 1pm and Sep 11 1pm – SBS-TV Dateline.

    – Ginny Stein takes a look at Pakistan’s version of Dame
Edna Everage – a cross dressing TV host whose made it her mission in life
to challenge Pakistan’s establishment. Comedian Ali Saleem transforms
himself into Begum Ali, a high-society dame with a sharp tongue and a
penchant for fancy saris and long eyelashes.

    Hi Bambi

Thanks for the tip..hope you don’t mind but I posted the details on the Perth forum for our local girls too!!

I have just watched the program (delayed transmission in WA so it was still at 1pm) and well worth watching…quite a convincing CD !! It’s interesting to note that even when in drab, he still is very feminine despite his beard stubble. Someone convincing enough to fool an Islamic polician deserves credit!!

Very enjoyable and I even learnt a new word “trysexual”!!!

    Hugs

Ali Saleem is a genius and it hardly seems like he even puts much effort in doing what he does.

Anyone who missed this 15 minute story, I have it as a MPEG2 file.

Too big to send over the net, e-mail me if you would like a file on a CD-ROM.
