Transvestite featured on Andrew Denton
Did everyone see the Transvestite, Sara, featured on tonights Andrew Denton Show. I thought that she was inspirational and loved the concept of a library that loans out people for 45 minute periods. It allows people to meet others and hear their point of view. Sara’s ending comment was this ” Be yourself, all the others are taken!” It would make a great teeshirt logo. Cheers .

Dammit! No I didn’t, and I usually like to see his programme. He always comes across as a very interesting and honest interviewer. Did anyone tape it? Perhaps it could be on the net somewhere?

Hi Helen..yes he has a webpage on the ABC site with reviews of past shows, worth a check out. Denton, to me, is a great interviewer as he asks the personal, in depth questions without being too confronting or inpolite and is very quick witted. Cheers Christina.

Yep, I saw that, funny, I never normaly watch it Andrew Denton, I just had to be flicking though the channels, But it was good to see others alike helping each other i.e. Sara’s now to be son!

Fascinating idea, wonderful interview> I hope we can do someting like that in Australia . Sara was very natural and I think manyof us will find her inspirational, I think she won a lot of respect for her position. I think it is wonderful how humans can react positively like this

Hi Caroline,Thanks for the link to the programme, I do wish I had seen it. Sounds like Sara would have been inspirational to listen to, although the transcript gives the gist of her thoughts and experiences.
