Foundation to hide out darker facial hair
Hi all!
I’m new to Tranny Radio, so please don’t bite me too hard. 20+ years of repression and anxiety have finally reached a peak and I’ve come out, and in and everywhere!
Anyway, I’m having some trouble covering up what my sweetie calls my “muzzle” (sigh)
I’ve tried a few of the tricks I know, like applying a lighter foundation (liquid or cream) to the darker areas first, then applying a mid, then as matching tone. And then I’ve been using a dark loose powder to blend in a nice complextion, as I have a mid/dark skin tone.
But it still isn’t really getting the results I need.
Maybe I’m just being overtly vain. I have no problem passing in public, I’ve over heard workmen in places where I was the only woman passing the area making comments like “Wow, she’s hot” and even had a Judge in the Supreme Court not even recognise me on my recent “coming out” experience this week – not even my father recognized me as he sat in the court room waiting to watch me be slaughtered.

But I feel I’m not hitting the mark.
Just so you know my background, I’m a professional photographer, cinematographer, film producer and director, and I’ve been around a lot of makeup in theater and film for all of my life
Unfortunately this year we haven’t had any make up artists in our midst, other than my sweetie and me
I’ll probably go and do a make up course later this year, I’ve been threatening to do one for about four years, now I have even more reason

I’d also like some help with this, as I have fairly thick hair growth on my face, and would like some tips on the ideal way to cover it up.

I used a conceler called colortration, (I have heavy beard shadow) it was recommended to me from another crossdressing forum. This stuff is designed to cover Tattoos.
It comes in a small little pump bottle and you use so little of it, it comes in many different shades.
You can purchase a sample pack from them I think about $14 US plus postage and it will have 7 different shades in tiny thimbles (you choose the shades off the website) and from that you can get your ideal colour shade, you can thin it with moistoriser if you wish.
Then you can purchase the bottle pump of your shade ( I think its about $50-$55 Au inc postage from New York. I have been on the 1 bottle for the last 12 months.
I use it only on my beard areas, I use regular Revlon foundation over the rest of my face and then a powder.
They are quick to dispatch it took only just over a week to arrive.

You might want to try TV Paint Stick by Kryolan. This is particularly made for The TV (Television) industry and is available here in Australia through many outlets. Many show girls use this. It will cover and it will last. Also they make a palette ‘wheel’ of concealers too.

I agree totally with Bambi on this. Kryolan foundations and concealers do the job very nicely.
Before I started IPL/ELOS/Electolysis I could grow a full thick beard in less than 4 days. I had to shave twice a day and usually had a 5 o’clock shadow by morning tea! As you can imagine hiding this was next to impossible. The picture below show my goatee after only 4 days of growth and the neck and cheeks had been shaved around 6 hours before the picture was taken.
After some friendly advice from others and also from a make up artist that usually works in television and theater, I started using a combination of the TV sticks and Camouflage Creme.
It works so well my daughter who occasionally sufferers outbreaks of extreme acne has on- more than one occasion stolen them for herself. Last christmas I bought her a whole heap of stuff from the Kryolan range so she would leave my make up alone.
Even though I don’t need it as much as I used to after having IPL/ELOS/Electrolysis I still make sure I have camouflage creme and a few different shades of TV stiicks in my makeup kit.
