Try being pagan as well…it gives them a choice!!! Seriously I broke from christianity when the only thing I got from them when I was an adolescent having sex with men was that I was going to hell. I didn’t know what homosexuality was or what it meant …just that it applied to my activities at the time. Times have changed however…..

Debating with biblical fundamentalists is an exercise in futility. Fortunately they are not nearly as numerous as they would like us to believe.

tricky topic , especially as so many of my friends are practising christians but here goes ( from an anthiest)
I don’t think that christians or muslims or anyone are anti us or any other group or person.
There are stupid small minded rules especially for controlling the flock that are endemic to all of this nonsense called religion.
Smart people, making up the majority of all religions chose to ignore most of this crap because they believe and they are good people who try to do the right thing in the ideology they exist in.
Religious leaders i agree need one of those ‘retraining camps’ Trotsky was known for in siberia.
Red necks and bigots can go to hell
I doubt there are less haters in the non- religious community than there are in the beliver community
Hate is in the soul (or lack of it) it has nothing to do with orientation of sex, religion, race or whatever
Idiots are just idiots and deserve to be totally and fantastically ignored
people are just people and will accept us, ignore us, love us, hate us based on that character
All i read from that stupid womans tirade was she hasnt had a good shag in years because shes a moron in as osti frock singing to jesus every sinday and missing the days when father ignatius used to get her to dress as a lamb and round her up all evening
Most of the original texts of relgions has no idea we existed and we are not covered or hated.
Since then a lot of meglamaniac tossers have ‘added bits’ to tell everyone their god will be angry with anything not sanctioned by them
Crazily almost all of then wear dresses and would be way improved with some lippy and some nice hair!
    Bigotry comes in many forms.
I have my doubts for the people I now that hate is based on any religion
Again, I ll add i don’t believe in any god
But i believe in peace, community and not taking from anyone, life, property or anything and most of the religions you know are full of people who also believe this.
Rednecks – they need an island for them all to live on

    Its actually kind of funny.
Dave Allen would fit it into his comedy routine.
Tell a joke or turn it into a sketch.

    REPENT!!!!!!

Do a google search on “Narcisistic personality disorder”
Sounds like she fits that pattern.

I think its a cluster I disorder, meaning dramatic and erratic.

    Regards,

I have to agree with Sarah. When people are afraid of how they feel about something they will hide behind a cause rather than own up to something being their idea alone.

And to the not so mature 40 y.o. lady I would only say that I am the way God made me. When Felicity is out and about she is more nearly being who she was created as, in boy mode she’s just hiding.

an interesting quote from the bible, Romans,
“There is no longer male or female, jew or gentile”

All these fundamentlist christians should read the new testament, and not the old testament, the new is now. the old is then and should be left there. never should the two be mixed.

Hi Andie,my experience with religion has been similar,as one of my brother in-laws is an extremely religous person, and has done basically nothing but revile me and call me all the sinners under the sun,and even now, three years after coming out,he has not spoken a single word to me,he wont even say hello to me at family gatherings, and yet he proffesses to be full of so called christian love!.Unfortunately, there will always be people like him in this world, and my advice to all you girls out there is simply to ignore them, for there will also be people out there that are far less narrow minded, who will accept us for who we are,and as I’ve found, they tend to outnumber those who choose to judge us and turn their backs on us.

hi…..the pity of it all is . that so many of these people . have never read the bible . mores the pity because if they had they would see what the bible is all about as it took place over many years . what had been said was for different groups of people . for the most part it happened 2000 years ago . yet even to day they try & make it as if it was to day . well thats not the case . yet when you tell these same people they will not hear what you have to say because they have ..allready made up there minds as to what they think it says . for me i have studyed the bible to make sure i knew what was writen ./ facts. places. times. when things happened . & so on so when i get there idears thrown at me i dont mind as they have not read what they are taking about . funny that they pick out what suits them . oh well i know how they think & act never mind i just leave them alone . yet other people i spend time with i have no problems they have accepted me for who i am . the leaders of a group i have contact with i talked to them on monday . telling them about us as trans just had a good time with them . not every body is ante those of us who are trans so part of what i am doing is letting people …know… that we can be a part of our comunitys & i meet a lot of people just like i did when i was in oz . so yea we can do it . so if we can accept our selfs then others will .just takes time ……..noeleena…
