This isn’t a virus in the server – but a fall out of the development being done on a new TR home page. Some changes that are needed are just too hard to put in place in parallel without affecting the live web site slightly.In the next week I hope to put up a link allowing you to try out the new look web site – and tell me what is wrong.
Then, I’ll roll it out and brave all the flack – just like Facebook does!
amanda … many thanks for the explanation. for a while, i thought it was something to do with what i had eaten for breakfast or had been smoking or someone had spiked my drink …
actually – i had a hard time reading some of the text on some days. i think the font colour was somewhere between violet, ultra violet and white! but it’s all good now.
and facebook … pfsh … they deserve all the flack they get!
i guess @ the end of the day, cosmetic changes are part and parcel of any t site!

hi amanda – some feedback on the latest digest of messages email.
i am on hotmail and if it’s not something in my breakfast, or someone hasn’t spiked my drink, or i’m not coloured blind, the text in these emails showing the extracts from the posted messages is in some colour that is nearly impossible to read. the headings are fine. not sure if that is a setting that can be reconfigured from the tranny radio end. all other hotmail emails seem to be ok …
oh, and many thanks for the continuing hard work. 2009 has been a tremendous improvement in terms of the server change and new lay out (i’m sure all of the girls like a good new lay out!). all for $5. best value i’ve ever encountered!

I’m on yahoo and I have also found the digests hard to read, the background colour and the type are quite similar.
What I do is highlight the text and then I find it easy to read.
