  Announcing the switching on of TR Blogs – new feature of the web site!

  What is a TR Blog?

  – TR Blogs allow you to record and share your transgender journey.
  – TR Blogs allow member to create an on-line diary about their life, thoughts, and pictures.
  – The blog entries are displayed (in reverse chronological order) with a calendar allowing specific posts to be viewed,
  – Only a member is allowed to post in their blog – but others can make comments.
  – Blog entries can include pictures (unlike other forum posts)

  For some time now a few members have kept individual blog topics in the forums. But the forum is not an easy format to maintain – and it is hard to separate the blog entries from their comments.
  The TR forums rework the forum postings and present them in more friendly way – making it both easier to read the blog and comment on it.

  How do I find the TR Blogs?
  You can read members blogs by selecting the tab marked “My Blog” next to their profile and album.

  You can also access the blogs from the Forum – they are to be found in individual forums under My Blog

  What can I use my blog for?
  Blogs should be personal – such as an update on your life, a story or poem you have written, or a picture.
  Please do not ask questions in your blog or make posts that are more appropriately made in the forums.
  The idea is for the blog entry to be more important than any subsequent comments posted by others.

  Who can read my blog?
  Only members of TR can see the blog content – and only TR members can post comments.

  I don’t have a blog!
  Go to the “My Blog” tab on your profile. You will find a link to click on to create an empty blog. You must then make your first blog posting.
  When the moderator approves the blog you will be able to add pictures to your blog entries.

  How do I post a new blog entry?
  Just go to the “My Blog” tab on your profile and click on the new blog icon.
  This gives you a simplified, quick way of posting to the blog. If you must have any features such as preview/quoting/whatever then you will have to go to the forum and post in a less convenient way.

  Why can’t I see any comments on the blog entries?
  To see comments click on the Show Comments link below the entry

  How do I comment on a blog entry?
  Just click on the “Add a comment” link. Once again you will be taken to a simplified posting page.
