I am just getting back into the swing of dressing again. My memory isn’t what it used to be and my weight isn’t either (although I ‘m trying to do something about that).
I have looked everywhere on the internet, and the closest I could come to anything was Laura’s Playground, but with all due respect to the site, it just had some women’s measurements and something about how our bodies are not the same. I already knew that.
All I am really looking for is a simple ready reckoner that I can equate waist sizes with dress sizes. Nothing incredibly all round accurate, just something that can give me an idea of what I am looking for when I buy.
Can any of you girls help me?

Laura, google” Easybuy”, an online clothing shop, they have a size gauge thingy as well as good clothes at reasonable prices and lovely Kiwi women to do orders through , I recommend them.

I have to be very carefull when buying over the net. I buy from 10 different stores and size charts vary quite a bit with clothing and shoes. Usually each site has a size chart but you CANNOT ASSUME that it applies to all.

Even sizes between clothing companies vary. A 20 maybe a 16 in another

I always contact them to varify

Even on Ebay [ I don’t use them to much these days ] you have to be carefull. If a seller says it’s a size 20, it could be 18 or 22. I do find eBay sellers a nusiance as many do not advertise actual measurements and then you have to go thu the proceedure to contact them.
Prices of same products on Ebay can be quite high in comparson to non Ebay stores as well
I look on Ebay once a month. If there is a product I am thinking of and has no measurements I just bypass. I have to really like something to go to the trouble to contact the seller for measurements.
