    hi christine

i’ve never tried this brand before, but their trial pack looks like good value. this is more so if you are just starting out. the pack covers most of the main items you will need in a basic make up kit, including brushes. but wait … there’s more … and it includes a free tips and tricks dvd. irresistible!

in my experience, most of the brands do not differ that much – just subtle ones here and there, so it’s not easy finding the one for you. i guess it all comes down to budget and needs.

i think if you haven’t had laser or electrolysis, a good beard cover is a must, and there are not many finer ones than dermablend (although i would recommend taking it off before going to bed (yes, even if it is 6:00 am and you have just come home from a big party night) because it makes a mess of the bed linen … come to think of it, it’s not that great on your clothes, either, but if you are careful, this is a small sacrifice for a great product). most priceline and soul pattinson stores stock this.

    hope this helps!

oh … and leeza gibbons – always has been a wonderful person who exudes glamour. nothing wrong with her endorsing sheer cover products! might even try them myself.

    hi Christine,

I use sheer cover so far (haven’t had the chance to explore with other brands at this stage of my life). I have oily skin. What I like about it is that it caters to my oily skin really well when used with blotting paper. Your skin will look smooth and natural, and only very little is needed. It’s easy to apply, and remove (using a make-up remover/wipe). Yep you haven’t removed any mouthstache or beard, beard cover would need to be used in conjunction with it.

    Hope this helps:-) x

Thanks Kirsty and Virginia. I just thought I’d get another opinion – so I’ll give it a try then ! :)

    Thanks for your comments.
