50’s style on Collectors
Did anyone see the Collectors program tonight on ABC, it was a show about the 50’s festival in Sydney. They had quite a bit about clothing styles and a great looking woman who wears 50’s clothes , hair and makeup, from that period, in her everyday life. I love those styles and the strong makeup and hair from that time. I was only 7 years old ( max) throughout that decade but the styles had a strong influence on me. Does anyone else like the style of that time?

Yes Christina I also like that era and the early 60’s. I was in my early teens during that time and I have a strong attraction to those fashions. Frilly skirts with multiple petticoats, Stilleto heels, Beehive hairdos and small trim waists. I had two elder sisters that were classy dressers and may have 🙄 sampled their outfits.
Some styles have cycled thank goodness.
