An interesting thought?
I have just decided that, in the style of Adam Savage from Mythbusters ,I will reject yours and create my own reality , on the derivation of the term “Tranny “
It is as follows;
In 1956, the eminent Austrian psychiatrist , Dr. Bernard Scholberg coigned the term “Inbetweener” to describe those whose gender fell between the man and woman social dualism. As is the manner of these things , the word was soon shortened to ” tweeny” and then to “twanny” in some foreign dialects. Twanny sounded too infantile for many people ( the way the word “fwendy” became the name Wendy ) and so Tranny came into usage.
Then the Japanese invented portable radios and the rest is History. Or is it Herstory??… ohoh I am thinking again!!
You can quote me on this and if you want to use it to explain to curious bystanders …knock yourself out!
