I have worked hard getting to this spot where i have the funds, 2 months leave, all hospital requirements meet but since booking my flight to Thailand I have been suffering from anxiety. I think it’s because i will be going to a foreign country alone to have surgery that will leave me helpless for a couple of weeks. Is this normal?

    Hi Stephanie,

I am pretty sure it would be considered normal to be apprehensive.

If you are sure this is right for you just enjoy the feeling knowing you are going to finally be you.

I wish you all the best.

As you have been brave enough to decide to embrace yourself you might be better to focus on the end of the journey. Yes its probably one of the greatest first steps you have ever taken; however its probably not as hard as you are letting your mind tell you.
Be yourself and be the person you always wanted to be completely when you return.

Warmest and Best wishes brave soul.

Thank you for your support girls. After time to take it all in that this is no longer a dream but becoming a reality I have just paid my deposit. I need to be comfortable in my own body, I need to be me fully. The anxiety made me question if I was making the right decision but that is in the past now.
