Chat Room Enhancements
I’m working on some enhancements to the chat room.
As a result it may look a bit broken…
But I beliieve I have left it working.
If anyone has problems with it please drop me an email or post a message in the BUGS forum -

It turns out that the chat room does not expect two users to have the same name….it gets somewhat confused.
To avoid unintentional identity theft I have changed the underlying membership database so that duplicate member names have a _1, _2 etc suffix.
I will work on making these nasy suffixes hidden in the main TgR web pages – but to avoid confusing who posted what they will be visible in the
forums and in chat. -
If you don’t like your new name in the chat like Mary_4 then log into the TgR web site and edit your profile.
As part of the profile you can “change your name” .
Where the current name is shown (like Mary_4) type a new name like Mary P
As long as your new name is unique in TgR you will say goodbye to having a number!Any problems just email me as usual….
