    Hi Chantel,
Have you tried dermablend? you can get it a chemists it is a heavy foundation that will cover your beard area, you have to scoop into your palm and warm it up with your finger by working it in circle then it will gluide on smoothly.

it is a great product, let me know if you try it and what you think.
I used it before I had any electrolisys

    hi Chantel
if you want another choice try Masquerade theatrical concealer ( orange ). It works well on my upper lip as I have the same problem there, just a little goes a long way. I bought it at a specialty makeup store (Cosmetics Plus) at Chermside QLD. I dont know if they have a store near near you. As I can’t find a site for them, but this concealer is worth a looking for

Dermablend is distributed in Australia by Orbis
    http://www.orbis.net.au

If you go to this web site you will find they have an on-line store (which I have never used and so cannot recommend)

I have in the past communicated by email directlly with zina (zina.richter@bigpond.com) who is a sales contact at Orbis. She is very TG friendly and has visited Seahorse NSW. She would certainly be able to identify outlets near you if you are unsure of colours (the main disadvantage of buying the first time over the internet).

I’ll put a link to Orbis in the new “Shopping Arcade” part of the forums.

    Hi Chantel,

If you’re after a quick fix for hiding those dark areas after shaving, the simplest way is to get a cheap red lipstick and aply it (in short strokes) to the dark areas then blend it in as you would with your foundation. The red from the lipstick counters the blueish areas, then aply a concealer over the top followed by your foundation. It’s simple, cheap and works a treat.

There are also colour correction creams you can by that do a similar job.
    Hope this helps.

Yeah, I have the same problem too, I’ve got quite a few photo’s that I can put up … Its okay a night to get away with, going out walking etc, But really, during the day, it makes you feel a bit more noticed …
