Iam looking at designing a electrolysis device for hair remocal.

How do you you know when a hair folicle has had enough current and time.

Also the power level for flash and blend (RF)

What I am thinking obout is to use a small micro to control the time and current but the current and time I am not sure of at the moment.

At the moment I have a rough design on paper for:
    Auto start
    Programmable
    ramp up time
    Ramp down time
    Current to Programmable 0 – 250 microAmp
Time on 0 to 120 secs

But I just need all the info on electrolysis I can get hold of. before I can start.

Do-it-yourself electrolysis machine? – take the safe option and buy one. And Vicki stop being so damn blokey!

You have got to be jokimg.

The use at home machines are not worth a a finger nail cutting.

They are little more that a battery /power supply and a resister.

A decent machine uses constant current, timing functions, ramp up /down.

This needs electronic thinking and possibly a little computing power.

This is something the so called home units will not have.

I would not touch them with 10 foot plastic tongs.

So Vicki – you can buid a better mousetrap – I shall follow your progress on Sky News. I can see it now “An unidentifed male was found elecrocuted in his bathroom in West Perth this morning. Neighbours beleieve that the dead man was a West Coast Eagles supporter and police dressed him in womens underwear so that he would no be an embarassment to his family”

Tut tut Rachel?? I admire technically oriented well educated women – but then we are not talking about a technically oriented well educated woman here are we?

Are you for real Julie? Cause I am finding it difficult to decide if that is sarcastic wit, or PMS……….

    now now girls….
People have always poked fun at the great inventors throughout history and I think you should give Vicki a go at what seems to me to be a courageous project.

I myself am currently working on a new type of natural breastform which will revolutionise the way we do things. What it involves is taking slaughtered cows udders and grafting them onto a strip of velcro…we then, surgically, graft a skin coloured velcro backer onto our chests and voila! ‘Tits on a Strip!’ (Pat. Pending) whenever we need them that provide a cleavage, fullness and a natural bounce not found in foam or silicon. It couldnt be easier.
I also have an idea for a Penis Cloaking Device which involves a mirror, a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun, and hard liquor…but I dont want to give too much away just yet :)

You are absolutely right Julie, but I didn’t see any relevance with the ‘blokey’ comment either!

I’m all for hair removal and if Vicki has the knowledge, and it sounds like she does, to create a better hair electrocuting/eradicating device, good on her. I could sure use one.

Make sure it runs on solar power Vicki, it might be less expensive then. Or maybe something like a booth you can step into and then ‘ZAP’. Its all gone in a flick of a switch. Imagine the time you would save.
