If this has been reported on already please excuse me.
As I was browsing to my mail box a doco ‘Forbidden Love’ ad popped up on Channel 7’s web site. The episode is called, ‘So I married a Crossdresser’. Set in the UK it interviews a number of couples, discusing how they met, how the wife found out, how she reacted and how they are getting on. The couples cover a wide age range too. Anyway, it looks interesting,

To paraphrase what they used to say on “Minder”, “well spotted, Claire”.

Whilst it may or may not have been featured on TGR, it has been on You Tube for a while. This I know cos I do like to scratch around on that site for such programs***.

My only qualm with this program, is the CD who gets around with that great big beard. Yes it’s his choice and life, but it “dont ‘arf” detract from the images most CD’s try to present

Yes – the “Forbidden Love” series of documentaries does tell some interesting stories. It is also interesting that the commercial stations are showing these productions .

Agree with Caty’s comment about the “lady” with the beard – she is certainly making a an individual statement – especially since her name is “Christine-Jane” :)

Re beards: A member of a support group in Melbourne had an agreement with their spouse that they could do what they wanted so long as the beard stayed. Evidently she loved it! This member turned up to a few meetings and visited the Greyhound hotel, which has been referenced elsewhere. On our few visits to this venue my erstwhile wife suggested she thought the person was very brave as the Greyhound was a bit of a toilet.

    HI Claire

as the Greyhound was a bit of a toilet.

And I used to drive past it in my “working days” and wonder what it would be like to go there.

So perhaps its being demolished is not a bad thing.
