Time perhaps for a new question for Emma?

The discussion of birdseed boobs is a perennial best seller – but has been discussed elsewhere in the forums extensively over the years.

    Dear Emma,

What do you find most irritating about some Trans people?

Do you think they are aware of that themselves?

If not , Is it polite to point that out to them?

An excellent question Caroline! There are two types of Trans folk who seriously give me the s***s. They are:

    1. Those that see our so called ‘community’ in degrees. By that I mean they degrade, or speak down to, those they do not think are truly Trans, or more importantly not as Trans as they are. I’ve been around a really long time and can hold my hand on my heart and say that the only true discrimination I have ever seen or experienced is among the Trans community. As I think I may in some small way be an influencer I enjoy baiting them and calling them out as they are generally the first ones offended by anything yet, somewhat inconsistently, have no problem with offending others.

    2. The other type I get highly annoyed with these days are the wannabe’s. If I had a shilling for the amount of times I have had online or email discussion with girls who say they want to do so much more yet come up with every excuse under the sun why they don’t I would be extremely wealthy. There is a notorious one here in SA who has done this for at least a decade – I won’t name her – and everyone here has heard her bullshit so often that in some cases jokes, and even songs, have been penned about her little ways. They are generally identified to the casual observer by the following identifying traits:
    – they have used the same profile picture FOR EVER.
    – they chirp in on conversations saying things like ‘Oh I’d love to go….but I can’t in this phase-of-the-moon’ or some equally astonishing reason.
    – they counter any attempt to do anything with weak excuses.
    – they often post information on fashion or items related to feminizing on Facebook without any intention of buying anything themselves.
    – they are on every Trans site imaginable with that same solo profile picture.

Hmmm should we call them out? Yes absolutely. I was a bit ambivalent to that until I actually asked myself that question whilst writing this response. I mean what difference will it make to them? Not a bit I suspect but it will do me some good and hopefully alert others.

    Totally agree Emma!!!

The first group I call “Pinkfogs” because they live in a perpetual haze of their own misguided view of what it means to be Trans.
Such people will invariably say their favourite colour is Pink.

The second group I call “Meerprats” as they resemble those cautious little animels in their behaviour and they make a
Prat of themselves by faking interest in socializing.

    Hi Emma, new topic for your super quiz, if you ever went into politics, are there any politicians or other world leaders you may model yourself after, such as;
    • Margaret Thatcher – The Iron Lady
    • Imelda Marcos – owned over 2000 pairs of shoes
    • Julia Gillard – First Australian female PM, and my ex local member a few years ago
    • Boudica – British Celtic Queen who led an uprising against the Roman Empire in AD 60/61, noted for a chariot armed with sword on its wheels
    • Bronwyn Bishop – Noted for her hairdo’s and Helicopter rides
    • Eva Perón – First Lady of Argentina.
    • Hillary Clinton – Long suffering wife of Bill Clinton and his friend Monica
    • Queen Elizabeth II – The Queen
    • Queen Victoria – Mother of about 12 children, her and Prince Albert were busy
    • Queen Elizabeth I – The Virgin Queen
    • Marie Antoinette – The last Queen of France
Your most welcome to add any other woman of note to your profile.

Well I need to declare initially that I do know Julia Gillard. She lives around the corner from me and can often be seen in the same cafe I frequent. A very nice person who always stops for a chat.

I can see myself as a bit of a blend of many of those, and others, you mention above Rosemary. If I were a benevolent despot, and let’s face it who here reading these words wouldn’t want that, then I think you could reasonably expect:

    – The class and style of Marie Antoinette, complete with her attendant disregard for ‘the little folk’.
    – The decision making of an Eva Peron.
    – The choice in life partner’s of an Eva Braun.
    – The blackmailing abilities of Harriette Wilson (look her up)
    – The career choices of Empress Theodora (look her up too)
    – The marketing abilities of Imelda Marcos (She organised a Manilla International Film Festival in 1982, amazingly attracting most of the big stars of the day. Just prior to her magnificent modern Film Centre building being completed there was a serious accident where scaffolding collapsed and 169 workers fell. Imelda, not wanting any delays, had them buried where they landed with quick drying cement. The Film Festival was a disaster and the following year they had a second one just playing Porn films)
    – Oh and I’d also bang as many of the staff as I could just like Queen Victoria did.

Essentially though, all these traits I already possess so I would not be strictly modelling myself on any of these great women.
