TgR Wall Forums M2F Toolkit Hair & Wigs Experience with Waxing

My late wife started to get her legs done on a regular basis about 10 years ago. Not long afterwards I decided to get rid of the beard I had had for the thick end of 40 years.
In my youth I had been a competition cyclist and had shaved my legs. Although I had stopped serious cycling when we were married, I did get back on the bike occasionally and gave the legs a once over, so it was little surprise to most acquaintances when I fronted up in shorts with hairfree legs
My natural hair colour was light in colout, and whilst I had a “normal” cover of body hair, it certrainly didn’t approach the “hairy ape” category. I generally wasn’t enamoured with the hairy covering, and I had been toying with the idea of trimming my chest & back. Clearly the back is problematic, so I asked the good lady if should could assist. More as a dare, she said “Why not get it waxed?” and she could check out the salon she used. Back & chest ? Of course they would. The lady made the appointments and off we went.
They had said not to bother with any trimming, and basically just turn up.
To say it was pain free is bull… – particularly the chest
I looked very red, but very smooth – seriously sensual feeling. A real revelation.
A couple of days later, I broached the topic of getting a Brazilian. She looked at me askance and then said that “her” salon was happy with the chest & back but would not do the private parts.
    Oh well. :(
Not long after, we were in the vicinity of her salon and she observed “There’s a place nearby that has got a sign saying they do Brazilians – for men & women”.
I made an appointment and a couple of days later nervously went along. An interesting experience, but it definitely wasn’t as uncomfortable as getting the chest done.
I must say, that on both occasions, in both salons, the young female operators were very professional, and far more relaxed than I was.
The resulting sensation was absolutely fabulous.
I decided I would get continue to get my “stuff” done at the “second” salon, and my lady would continue with “hers” – which would also obviate any embarrassment.
I did stagger the appointments for the “top” and “bottom” for the first few visits, but then started to get the lot done at once.
That all started about 7 years ago and has been going ever since. The regrowth on the chest is prickly for a few days but then softens as it gets longer. Because of the mix of my natural light hair colour & the mix of grey means I can hold off for a couple of months before visits.
I have just negotiated a package price to get my legs done as well, as I think the waxing results are better than shaving.
In conclusion – I’ll say t hat whilst it’s not cheap, it is a fabulous sensation.
The overlap with my “dressing” is another topic for another time
    Cheers & hugs

At my wife’s suggestion, I started having a full body wax once a month about five years ago at a salon that she had used a few times. The lady (Gail) said at the time that she did not do Brazilians on males and I was not concerned about that.
I would book two separate sessions and have the top half done in the morning and and the bottom half in the afternoon. After a few months we realised that it was taking too long to do the the arms and hands and I would often have to use my Epilady on these areas in between sessions with Gail as the hands especially, were something I could not hide when the regrowth started to become apparent. I continue to do my arms and hands about twice a month with the Epilady, leaving the rest to Gail.

I would always arrive at the morning session in drab mode but on a couple of occasions, with Gail’s approval, when I had a TG function to attend that night, t would dress femme and put on my make-up during the break and attend the afternoon session as Sheryl.

Three years ago I put Sheryl back into the closet as I was having some personal issues and I stopped the waxing too. after twelve month of self imposed exile, Sheryl re-emerged stronger than ever, starting with another full body waxing and this time adding the face to the areas to be waxed. During Sheryl’s exile, Gail had left the salon and had begun providing her services from her home. Now Gail does the whole job in one session but we take a 15-20 minute coffee break about half way through.

My regrowth has lessened slightly over the years and has become finer. The pain level has diminished but there are some areas that are still quite sensitive, particularly around the lips and the lower back but if I am tired, I will sometimes nod off while Gail is working. After my waxing there may be some hairs on the face that broke off instead of being pulled out and some that did not grow long enough for the wax to hold, these are quickly removed by a very light shave or if they are very dark can be removed with tweezers

The feeling of a hair free body for at least a week after waxing is so incredible it has to be felt to be believed but the best part is not having to hide a beard shadow for at least two weeks after waxing.
The only down side is the monthly period. That is the period of a week to ten days that I have to let the beard grow so it is long enough for the wax to pull it out

Overall, I love my monthly waxing and will recommend it to anyone. I was open with Gail about my reasons for having the waxing done, she has always acted in a professional manner and I feel very comfortable when she is working on me. I now think of her as one of my best friends.

I have had full-body wax in the past (excluding groin) with reasonable results. Summer gave the best finish, pores open more due to the warmer weather.
Jawline proved the more difficult, for whatever reason. Perhaps on account of a different wax being used.
