    Hello Ladies,

I just thought I would share an AMAZING experience I just had. Yes this girl travelled from Cairns to Melbourne in FULL girl mode. Well I did wear pants, but other than that I had full make-up, high heels, blouse, cardigan, wig, the lot so to speak and it was a blast. Everyone on the airline was so lovely and accepting, it was one of the highlights of my life. the day started with a breakfast at my hotel and I asked the receptionist if I should travel as I had presented at breakfast and for every night I was at the hotel. Her words without a hesitation, you should definitely do it.
Well, I did it. No false id’s or anything, I just presented my male id and everyone was fine with that. I was treated so well and it just made this girl feel so absolutely wonderful. I always knew Virgin was good, but now they have just been elevated to EXTREMELY EXCEPTIONAL. I just thought I would share this with you all and let you know that it’s okay to travel enfemme, just be confident in yourself and know that you are what you present. Well you know this isn’t going to be the last time that Jessica gets on the plane.

    Hugs,

    Jessica

Thank you and well done Jessica!
Good to see you have taken another giant step in getting out and about en femme. You can expect the same or better treatment if you go QANTAS. I have found they are both very aware of their obligations to treat all passengers equally.

Haha, no unfortunately not on the plane. I thought of it, but didn’t want to attract any more attention to myself. I did take one in the lounge though.

It was absolutely amazing and I would say to all, just do it. I had fears that were completely unfounded and in the end I wish I had worn a dress or a skirt, oh well, that’s for the next time.

Brings back memories of the trip Caroline & I did from Sydney to Adelaide 10 years ago with Virgin. Back when it wasn’t frowned on to refer to a Tranny (or have a web site called TrannyRadio),

a lot has happened to both of us in the last 10 years – but the attitudes of airlines to paying customers, however presented, has not.

    That was a great trip!!!

As I recall we were treated very courteously and that day visiting the wineries in McLaren Vale was one I will never forget.

I think we enjoyed that more than the reason we flew to Adelaide in the first place!!

What a great experience and well told. I am traveling from Sydney to Adelaide in September and have decided that there will be NO male attire whatsoever on my person or in my luggage. (other than a razor in my ‘wet’ pack).

Your experience has given me confidence and I am really looking forward to my first flight presenting as Fay.

I will report back after my trip, hopefully with positive experiences.

    Fay.

Actually I’m a bit off topic because I will be traveling with Qantas!

Sorry Adrian, I’ll book Virgin next time. But I do like the big white rat better.

    Hugs to all,

    Fay

[Adrian: No problem – I don’t have shares in Virgin. I’ve changed the thread title to embrace all carriers. And to get rid of that annoying (to some) “en-femme” adjective

    Hi All.
Just a quick update on my adventure in Adelaide. I had a fantastic flight down with Qantas. Could not have been treated with more respect or courtesy.
First hurdle was airport security where I had to take my heels off after setting off the metal scanners. No problem as I was only one of many ladies that had to do the same.
Boarding went well, presented my frequent Flyer card at the gate, flight attendant scanned the card, checked the name, looked up and without a blink said “welcome aboard Ms St*****”
Once onboard I was seated between two ladies, with whom I chatted with amicably during the flight, and the Flight Attendents kept referring to us at “the three ladies”.
Any fears I had about flying as Fay have been completely allayed. It was a wonderful enlightening experience that I will remember forever.
I will report further in more detail with an update on the return flight when I return on the weekend.
I am having a wonderful experience here in Adelaide with Sharon, she has taught me so much and made me so welcomed. Photos will follow….

    Hugs for now,

    Fay

    Hi Fay,
Thank you for sharing your adventure. It really brought back so many great memories and I know it will help others understand that there is really nothing stopping us from doing what we want to do. I have since, travelled again presenting as female and this time I wore a skirt and heels. So it was an even more out there look and definitely fully presenting as female. I sat next to a lady who turned out to be a psychologist and we had a very interesting conversation about my experience. Who would have known. I have attached a photo.
Again, thank you for sharing your experience and I look forward to hearing of your return flight.
    Hugs,
    Jessica
