Eyeliner – recomendations please
Posted by Anonymous on 05/08/2008 at 10:43 amHi all, What is the best eyeliner for a really sharp line and ease of application. Have tried Clinique soft pencil and Avon stuff but still can’t get the look I’m after. Suggestions, Tips?

Guest05/08/2008 at 11:38 pmHi Susan,
I like using liquid eyeliner because i can never get a pencil to appy on or to stay defined.
It takes a bit of practice to apply liquid eye liner without blinking.
I’m using Rimmel “Exaggerate” liquid eye liner in 100 % black.
I prefer to apply it o the upper eyelid with a small soft bristle brush rather than the supplied applicator.
A small artists or hobby brush would do.cheers,

Re: Eyeliner:
You may want to try ‘Shiseido Fine Eyeliner’. This is a liquid eyeliner in a pen arrangement with a renewable cartridge and has a brush applicator. You can get as fine a line as you wish. And replace the cartridge and use different colors. I have been using this for about a year with good results. Details are below, and it is available where Shiseido is sold (Myer, David Jones etc.)

Guest06/08/2008 at 4:25 amHi Susan,
I’m with Claire. I also use a liquid eyeliner as it’s the only one I can get a reasonably finely defined line.
i use L’Oreal’s Intensifique using the applicator provided on the upper lid only (I use a normal pencil eyeliner for the lower lid). I then lightly blend it in with a soft tip of another eyeliner pencil. As Claire said it does take practice but I think the result is much better.
cheers,
Vanessa

Guest06/08/2008 at 9:40 pmThank you so much. I’ll go to shops when I come down to the city next and try your recommendations, let you know what happens. I thought this might be the answer.
