There’s no one secret that I know of, but here’s a couple of tips-

when doing your makeup, make sure to put foundation on your lips as
well as the rest of the face; think of it as primer for your lipstick.
The foundation will allow you to apply lipstick and liner without
having to worry about your natural lipline, and will also help to
make the color “pop” a bit more than applying lipstick to bare lips.

When applying the lipstick, use a lipliner that is a bit darker than
your lipstick, and draw the outline of the lips just to the outside
of your natural lipline- this is probably the most common trick for
making lips look fuller. You can definitely overdo it, so practice to
find out how extreme you want to go. After lining the lips and
applying lipstick, don’t forget to blend the two together for a more
natural look (unless of course you are going for the overly done drag
    queen look…)

Another trick is to use two slightly different shades of lipstick
with the lighter shade going on the bottom lip. Lighter colors tend
to call attention to things and make them stand out while darker
colors appear to recede. This is a good way to make the bottom lip
appear fuller, which is really what people are after when they talk
about “full lips”…a full bottom lip will make your mouth appear
fuller regardless of the upper lip. Just making the upper lip appear
fuller doesn’t have much effect at all if the lower one isn’t full as
    well.

To get an even more dramatic effect, when you have gotten the
lipstick on, you can apply just a tiny dab of a light color like a
concealer or foundation in the very center of your lower lip, where
light naturally reflects off of it (look at a flash picture of a face
to see where I am talking about). Don’t use too much (just a dot) and
blend, blend, blend…when done properly it will give you a very full
    and sensual looking mouth.

Finally, when everything else is done use lipgloss to give that extra
bit of shine. A good alternative to commercial cosmetic lipgloss is
to use a vitamin E gel cap; bite a tiny hole in it, spread some of
the oil on your lips and eat the rest of it when your lips are done.
It’s cheap and actually good for your skin.

There are also lip plumper-type cosmetics available, but I have no
personal experience with them…some people swear by them but they
    can be very pricey.

    Hope this helps.

It isn’t a dramatic effect but I get some enhancement from Neutrogena
Lip Boost. It isn’t extremely expensive. I also have heard that
    Sesame oil helps.

I noticed there are several creams, pastes, applications etc that can be brushed onto the lips and will make the lips appear larger. These are available in Big W. Does anybody know how effective these are, how long they last and whether or not they are dangerous. I must admit I am tempted to try them! Any replies or experiences (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

There are many products out there and I have done some homework before purchasing my lip enhancement. There are many that qualify that are good.
I have been advised that NAKED KISS have a range that is good and effective but I have not tried any in that catagory
The one that I am using is INNOXA Maximise lip gloss plumper in a burgandy when I am in fem mode. It is thick and easy to apply and hides lip creases. I can also use my lips for a even spreading. I find it nice and glossy but not overpowering color.
I also use Life Extension product ULTRA LIP PLUMPER 80116 ww.lef.org I also find it a excellent product and use it regurlarly. From lef is very safe. The reason I use this product is health, can’t see it, so I can use it daily. It appears that from reports that if you use particular lip plumpers on a regular basis the enhanced lips become permanent . Here’s hoping. As I use this on a regular basis health become a issue so I went for the lef product that I trust.

    Georgette,

Thanks for that, I’ll look around and try it. The permanent plumping is very tempting!

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hi
with the lip plumper aer you sure it plumps the lips permanently.I tried 2 brands that claimed to both plump in the short term and increase lip volume (and i can sorely do with plumper lips inm either femme or Gurl mode !) but achieved neither !
What I achieved was just sore lips !
Id love to use a product that would work here …
    Love

I have tried lip lumper and I have to admit it has worked. The effects are not as dramatic as the publicity seems to indicate, but in my experience it does work. Lips felt a little desensitised the nxt morning, but no signs of discomfort, at least with the brand I used, Modelista.

I concur with Helen the effects of lip plumpers. Not dramatic but positive. As for long term several times a day every day consisently for at least 6 months. I have not measured the lips but I do feel visually there is a increase.
Consistant use would make it faily permanent. I suppose it could be likened to a bee sting in the same spot ie leg every time. The swelling would be enlarged fairly permanent.
In speech therapy one of the excersises is to stretch the mouth. At first there is tension but after a week or so there is no tension which would mean some permancy of a enlarged mouth. I still stretch the mouth everyday regardless.
