Altho I think I have mentioned this topic in passing in other posts, this time around I’m making it an individual topic.

Caty’s wardrobe, exterior, “under-terior” shoes, make up, jewellery wigs etc etc has grown substantially over these last few years and praise be, she has her “Sheduior” (aka large shed) to store all of these items away from prying eyes.

But living as she does in a rather large house with lots of spare wardrobe space and at least one empty chest of drawers, plus a hardly used guest bathroom, she feervently wishes all her finery could be stored “normally”, instead of two garment bags, a suitcase and ad finitum cardboard boxes.

The chest of drawers could take all her lingerie, the wardrobes her dresses and the shelves in the wardrobe could take her shoes, wigs and jewllery. Her make up could reside in the bathroom drawers etc etc.

Ah, but siiiigghhhh it can never be thus.

Anybody else feel the same ???

And here I exclude all those lucky ducks who’s better halves know and either tolerate or encourage our unusual “hobby”.
.. And no green is not my favorite colour even if my “gills” are thus as I type.

    Happy dressing

    Caty

I felt that it was an important step for me when a major part of my life was no longer stashed away under the bed and I hung and put things away in a drawer. To have all my stuff out in my own home is very liberating.

I share your pain over this problem Caty as you well know Glenda’s items also reside for the most part stashed away in an area where prying eyes are unlikely to stumble across them. The hardest part for me is the sometimes musty smell they hather when it has been a while since wearing them. I am usually able to cover it with a dash of perfume but must also be careful that I dont overdo it and give my SO a reason to start having thoughts about another woman, even if it is me. I would love to be able to hang my clothes in a wardrobe and spread my frillies out in a drawer. Also washing my clothes can be a challenge as well. It can be hard to get things washed dried and packed away in a few short hours at times.
Would love to hear from anyone else that has conquered these problems
Take care all Love as always

I too have dream of having all my things at hand but alas for Jennifer it is also not to be. I used to have a very large trunk at home which was used to ship personal property when we returned from a stint in England many years ago. I used that for a number of years (always locked) until it became too risky.

I now and for quite a few years have a storage facility where all my things are stored but that has restricted being Jennifer to only occasional dressing. The storage facility is safe but restrictive.

But for those who feel they need to keep their secret, the storage facility is a really good option.
