At Glebe last Friday I mentioned the Gay Rugby World Cup and how an organiser had mentioned LGBT in an aside in a story on TV that was essentially about tough gay men. I thought it was an example of Adrian’s tipping point thesis (that TG is becoming more “normal” to mainstream Australia). The very next morning I read the article that is at the top of this thread and realised the organiser wasn’t just being casual when he mentioned the T but had one of his players in mind. It’s still a good story though.

The more good publicity the better I say- even if its for gays as Tg ts etc tend to be lumped in with gay

BTW what is the ratio between MTF and FTM – like any latest figures on this ?
