I just checked my NSW licence and there’s no gender information on it either. It still has a very butch picture of me that I’ll have fixed in April when it needs renewing.

In Queensland sex IS displayed on the Driving License card. However due to the work of the Australian Transgender Support Association of QLD (ATSAQ) the sex type can be changed with a letter from a Psych stating the person is gender dysphoria. There is no fee for changing this information with Queensland Transport.

I’m from the ACT so I can only echo what Liz has said. Gender isn’t shown on license’s. I don’t see any reason why it should be .. Unless the Government roads department want to do a survey on how many licenses are suspended by Gender.
