As you ought to have Brenda, in fact the junior policeman was very fortunate. I dare say the elder of the two gave him an absolute spray after you left. You would hope the younger Policeman’s attitude was unique.

    Hi Peta

Your recent situation being pulled over by the police reminds me that when commuting too and from Hobart as Roisin this could happen to me. In fact when leaving Hobart tonight the police were breathalising and though I knew I was fine I wondered what would happen if they stopped me. Fortunately they were busy already as they had pulled three cars over. But I can imagine the reponse to my appearance.

I dont really want to be humiliated by having to remove my wig and I couldnt bring myself to tell porky’s about losing my licence. But perhaps we have to play the game. I think a letter from my Doctor would be a good idea so I’ll get onto that: Thank you.

    Best wishes
    Roisin.

I had an incident a couple of years ago when I got pulled over by the police (in QLD). He asked for my drivers license which I showed him and I was impressed that he didn’t even bat an eye. I was expecting to explain myself here. He only called me by my name and not MR or Miss was cordial and let me go on my way. I was shocked to say the least by the level of professionalism that was show. Not sure if they are all like this but as long as you give them your real id and don’t hide anything (i.e something that will will get their suspicion up then there shouldn’t be a problem)
