Guest23/07/2010 at 1:15 pmHi Misty,
I am keen on school uniforms and gym slips amongst other things. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any in my size at a decent price. I was quoted $90 to run up a school dress in a check material which I thought was a bit much. Short of learning dress-making myself, any school garments I obtain fall into the ‘collectables’ category.
Regards, Terri

I was actually able to find a blouse that the girls wore to our school at an opshop many years ago that fit my perfectly and teamed it with a basic black pleated skirt which was the sports uniform at the time.
The uniform had been changed within a few years of me leaving high school so I’m sure its been changed many times since thenMelissa

I had a school uniform made and found it comfortable to wear apart from liking the look. But like Terri, the $75 it cost to get it made makes it a bit too expensive to get more. I have looked on ebay and oztion for more but they would need to be in the largest sizes and to be honest I have never found one suitable.
With that man being arrested wearing one recently, I think it is perhaps not a good idea to go into a shop and try to buy a new one.

Guest02/08/2010 at 10:41 amI find it all a bit odd about mens fixation on Childs School Dress, I know many here find my love of Lycra disturbing, But hey thats me I like to stand out. But I always found it to close to the bone for myself in regards to dressing up as School girl outfit. But hey to each there own taste.

Guest03/08/2010 at 11:10 ami think we have the same reason why we wear what we like to wear, you like to wear lycra “to stand out”
well thats one of the reasons why i like to wear school dresses, to stand out and be diffent, ive been to alot of crossdress theme forums and there not really that many people who would wear a school dress as everyday wear. but like you said
“to each there own”

I used to own a similar number of school dresses but have downsized! It’s a pretty common liking I would think, many of us probably grew up with sisters and had access to their uniforms and it’s an easy outfit to put together. And it’s a really cool look! Enjoy.

Guest29/03/2011 at 6:57 amHey girls,
This is an old thread, but here’s my thoughts;
I seriously love school dresses, there is something about what they portray to me; innocence, youth, freshness, vitality etc. I am not in the least interested in schoolgirls sexually, I have two grown daughters, nothing could be further from my thoughts.
I had a collection of summer uniform dresses of the type you see in Aus. government schools. Blue check or red or green check and plaid. Beautiful things to wear, so light and airy when you get a slight breeze around your cottontails, I really, really miss them. More so now I’m too old for that stuff!!Jannine. X

Jannine you are never too old. I am over 60 and wear mine sometimes. So nice as you say to feel the breeze around your cottontails.
