Just as I was finishing work today, I went to the office to try and get some more of my roster. I walked in and there was a co-worker of mine who saw me and three of the women who work in the office, at least one of them saw me. I said a few words to my co-worker and then I noticed my phone was starting to ring so I excused myself and just stepped outside but only walked a few metres around a corner.
The woman on the phone said her name but I couldnt quite place the name but then I twigged on to it, it was one of the women from the work office which I was just in, calling me.
So as I started talking to her, I just walked back to the office and after she asked me about a shift, I just walked back in and said (not over the phone) “how about I talk to you in person about it instead of over the phone” and the poor woman jumped 10 feet in the air.
I wasnt trying to scare her but managed to but still, it was pretty freaky timing huh

So Melissa do I understand correctly that you were in fem mode when you encountered your co-workers and they did not recognize you? That being the case does this now mean you are out to your co-workers? Hope it all works out for the best.

No Chrissy, I was in male mode, Melissa doesnt get much of a look in anymore.
I had just finished work and on the way out, I went to the office to check my roster as they only give it to me 2 days in advance if I am lucky.
If I get some Melissa time and get to go out, I have to be a lot more careful now in Brisbane as I have lost a big part of the relative anonymity that I had prior to starting there so I pretty much have to go in girl mode.
Mind you, if someone saw me and decided to hassle me over it at work, I guess I could lodge a complaint or something. What we do when not at work is our business and we shouldnt have to feel guilty for it nor have to suffer any abuse or harrassment.
