I need an excuse to get dolled up and get out.

The last time a New Years Eve dance and wow it feels fantastic to dance in a skirt any excuse will do. Although it would be OK to dress up at home it just does not seem worthwhile and I would rather out somewhere.

    Dear Frustrated Vicki
I agree entirely there is much more “ZING” Factor in being out in the world enjoying yourself rather than being at home.
Why the body’s endorphins are induced in such a way Im not quite sure but I all can suggest is that you befriend Karron over there in WA for ideas to ” trip the light fantastic”
    Some exhilaration is assured .

I need excuses too, so sometimes I choose to celebrate Friday because they only happen once per week, or maybe Wednesday for the same reason. Or I might decide that a certain outfit has behaved well and can be rewarded with a day out.

The other way to look at it is that life is your excuse. We all have a right to feel good, to feel happy and even to feel nice. If going out en femme (hopefully we’re always dressed) helps that then that’s a good enough excuse.

It’s hard to seize one’s days sitting at home.

    :)

Although my wife is very supporting I still feel embarrassed at home but feel very comfortable going out, hence I need an excuse not a reason. The last time was to a Xmas dance, it was supposed to Blank and White dress and since it was a bit too hot to dance in long pants it white skirt and black top. This gave me a chance to show off dancing in high heels and oops I did a little disapproving look from someone we knew in boy mode or where they just jealous because I could still dance in high heels.

I live by myself and can go out wherever and whenever I like but I don’t have anyone to go with and the main outlet spot in Brisbane bores me so I usually don’t bother getting dressed up just to sit there and get frustrated. I guess I need an outlet and an excuse
