Insight on Transgender
I just watched a great program on Insight ( SBS) that focused on the effects of transition on partners and family of Trans folk. I do bang on about it but the ones that did best were when everything was out in the open from the start. Worth catching on SBS on Demand.

I too watched the show. Great production and chaired in a sensitive and thoughtful way by the host. Recommend it to all. Regards Marian

Thanks for letting us know about this programme. I think it shows how much we can sometimes forget that with all the stresses we have gone through, and still do, there are others who are affected.
I felt so sorry for one of the wives, Mandy, who said she couldn’t find any support at all, then there was a comment from one of the other women telling how they contacted a TGLI place, support group(?) to get help but they ‘wouldn’t’ help.
Lauren and Toby seemed to have the perfect relationship.
I would totally agree with Christina, ‘from the start’. But then again, some didn’t realise it until later.
