I’ve got a thing for shoes!
I’ve always had a thing for shoes.. Weather it’s a pair of stilettos or a sling back with a tiny kitten heel, for some reason shoes to me make’th the woman! Well not really. It’s a little silly to say something like that. But I will confess, before buying an outfit, I choose a pair of shoes first. Now that I’m in the middle ages of my life, my poor calf muscles have suffered from wearing the occasional 4″ heel and, I will fully admit, I now have a tendency to buy a lesser heal. That leads to the problem of availability and wants and desires. I can buy a pair on international web sites that arrive in AUS reasonably quickly but I cant find a lot of low heel shoes offered in Australia. It’s amazing that the US an UK can have shoe sites that cater for bigger feet (size 12/1/2) but there are few here. I guess I’m going to have to continue to troll the internet sites and then buy the outfit to match through the same portal!

Hi Bridgette, regarding shoes in Australia. It was ever a problem and a very frustrating one too, I have bought shoes from the US and UK but found the variance in size can be tad risky. Luckily the shops these days have a return and exchange service, even if it is time consuming.
If you don’t know the company, Rosengbergs have shoes in a wide variety of sizes and fittings and a variety of heel sizes. This could be a solution for you.

Me too – although “always” in my case was vicarious and has only very recently been able to be exercised
Whilst large size availability is definitely an issue, my large plates (compounded by bunions) need extra wide fittings. I have tried the online Chinese sellers but invariably they are narrower fittings,.

Shoes are one fetish I certainly share. The first impact was observing women wearing stiletto heels when I was still very young; bam, instant impact. When I was growing up there was a period when mules were all the rage and they amplified the impact (and I notice they have the same effect on others when I wear them). I’ve amassed a fairly large collection over the years and I recently had a clean out. It was embarrassing to find there were several pairs I had only ever worn once or twice; thank goodness for ebay.
