    Hi girls ,
does anyone here know where I can buy some satin opera length gloves in a large size .I’m fed up buying “one size” gloves that are way to small .My hands aren’t that big but just can’t seem to find a store that offers anything other than “one size ” Any help much appreciated ,
    thanks Caroline

Sadly its getting harder and harder. In the 1990s there was a lot of CD large gloves , but with China coming in no one makes them large anymore.
Try some American Cd friendly shops they may still have some one who makes them there.

    Hi all,

I have bought mine from a number of the costume sale places on the Internet. Yes its true some of them are of poor quality and the seams split as soon as you as good as look at them, let alone wear them.

But keep “clicking away” and I’m sure you will finda good pair somewhere

I guess this highlights the current reality. Long gloves are no longer a fashion item – but are a fancy dress accessory. So don’t wear them if you plan to blend in at the local Westfield shops! Like most fancy dress there is no need to build-to-last – it is a strictly one occasion life-cycle.

    Good luck!

Afternoon to the “long glove wearers” on TGR.

I went back through my e.mails as to where I bought my last pair.

I was impressed with the quality of these, the seams have yet to split for a start. But then I do have baseball mitts for hands, so anything on those is a big ask!!

Try costume box, think they are in Sydney somewhere. Google should do it.

    Regards

    Caty

PS Now if I could shave my arms, I would not need the gloves, tho they are good to hide the “baseball mitts”

Hi there Caroline, I recently found this store on E-bay you might find it very interesting especially as they sell gloves in sizes and large ones to boot.
