Magnetic false eyelashes
Posted by Anonymous on 22/02/2018 at 12:38 pmHello all
I am hoping that the combined knowledge of you all may be able to help me. Does anyone have any tips or tricks about how to effectively apply the magnetic false eyelashes. I have tried several times to get them on but invariable they seem to have a mind of their own and attach themselves to everywhere but my eyes. Any help would be appreciatedLove as always

Deleted User03/03/2018 at 1:49 amI just purchased a set myself. Wow them last night and they worked really well. Did mascara first, then put the top one on tight to the eyelid and the bottom one snapped on underneath really easily. Same with the second pair. 100 times easier than normal falsies. I didn’t have any trouble but I would say the key is to get the top one resting on top of your real eyelashes then the bottom one gsnaps on really easy.

Deleted User05/03/2018 at 11:48 pmI have a love-hate relationship with false eyelashes. I used to wear them all the time, back in the day, but lack of use helped me lose the skill of application, so now when I get them out and try them, sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn’t. So this idea sounds great.
I did a search and found this great video, her reading of the disclaimers is very funny.

That’s what it felt like when I thought I had them on right – the magnetic part being right up against the eyelid. The other thing to bear in mind that there is no glue – fussing around and re-glueing normal lashes plays havoc with eye makeup but with these you can play around, with limited mess making with your eye makeup.

Guest04/04/2018 at 6:39 amHi Glenda
Here is a video that explains a method on how to apply these easier,
Essentially apply your mascara before the applying the top lash, the mascara acts like a weak glue so you can press the top lash to the shape of your eyelid. If you find it difficult to align the bottom lash you can cut it into 3 or 4 pieces each with their own small magnet and apply them on at a time. This seems to be a common hack to apply these lashes
Good Luck

Appreciate the tip Elsa. I purchased a set of these magnetic lashes early last month and like Glenda had no end of trouble trying to put them on: and so much so that I was going to throw them away. I will try again using the technique you have recommended. Thank you again for the post.
