    Hello one and all

I guess this question is aimed at those of us who aren’t full time but with all the madness in the world this year and having our lives impacted in various ways, has this led to you dressing as your femme self more or less? Not necessarily to go out anywhere (if that is has been possible where you live) but even when at home.

I am still off work since early April and have hardly dressed femme at all

    Hi Melissa
I’m speculating that for some people, not necessarily you, the anxiety about job loss and its consequences from a financial viewpoint may be a factor in a decline in dressing behaviour.

On the other hand , I can also see that for some people there might be a beneficial effect ie dressing provides a welcome diversion from the anxieties that the pandemic has caused.

So it would be interesting to know if there has been some psychological benefit to some people arising out of all of this.

    Thanks for the post
PS The term ” Femme” is most correctly applied when talking about an overtly Feminine Lesbian as opposed to the often “butch” appearance. Its use in Transgender discussions has always been of some annoyance . Hence to me En Femme is an anachronism and a term thatI would like to see expunged from the Transgender lexicon.
