    Hi Girls.

Today I bit the bullet. I could stand it no longer. I thought about this all morning. so I puckered up some courage and visited my local Savers!
Headed straight to the shoe dept. Hmmm. Not much there. Saw some nice cork platforms with a 4″ heel, brand new for 20 bucks. Too high for me. Picked up some size 9 strappies ($7) with a more sedate 3″ heel, put them in my basket along with a pair of size 9 black patent sensible flats. I couldnt try them on, there were too many customers around, so I just had to guess.

Next stop, skirts! Wanted a black pencil skirt, found 1 quickly, Katies size 14, lined as well, for $8, then another after 5 skirt, black with a unusual tiny floral design in gold and aqua, (sounds attrocious, but really sweet) again a 14, by be’be’ of Sydney.
Then I needed some tops. Found some in black and took 3. ($5 ea.)… They will be great if I ever get a job waitressing! Or attending all the funerals that seem to attract us elderly folk! I also wanted some bras, and there were plenty there, some lovely bustierres, but too small for me. Got 2 x 16d cups in white and beige. Savers dont sell secondhand knicks or briefs. – have to visit Big W for those.
To begin with, it was a nerve-wracking experience. I found eventually that if I just kept my head down and kept looking through the clothes, then any untoward notice from staff or customers soon eased, as I became part of the furniture. Throw in the odd fake mobile phone call and I was able to check out the gear without a worry.
So much so that when a lovely early 40s staffmember asked how I was, I really wanted to tell her my true intentions, and would she help with sizes! But she gave me a knowing smile and walked off. Some women have a 6th. sense, I’m sure she knew what I was up to.
When I got home I raced into the shower, dried and into my new Razzamataz hose quick smart. Black pencil skirt; a bit hard to do the waist buttons, but zipper ok. Black tops, 2 out of 3 ‘aint bad, I was saving the best till last, black strappies; a little tight but they’ll give.
Black flats, way too tight. Can only wear those on cold days. Little black cutie skirt; I was so dissapointed that I could’nt pull the zipper up. It was made to hug a womans hips and a tiny waist.
But it is a georgeous little thing, I shall keep it for the future me.

That was my shopping trip. Long overdue. I will loose my inhibitions and blitz Savers again soon, with a purse full of cash. Oh Gosh! …..I forgot to buy a purse!! Ah well, there’s an excuse to go back tomorrow!!

    Hi Janine.

A tip from an old hand – buy skirts that have elastic or stretchy waist bands. We are the wrong shope for anything that doesn’t give a little (ok, maybe a lot!). And stretch jeans for those times when you tire of wearing skirts. LOL They help with the tuck as well.

To make that little protrusion a little less noticeable, invest in a good control panty – much cheaper and easier to get hold of than gaffs and such. A good pair will only set you back around $20 from Big W.

Good to hear you had a great time shopping for yourself. There should be more people feeding back their success stories. Usually it’s the “I’m too scared” or “what if someone see’s me” brigade. Yes – it is scary, but look at the feeling of freedom and success you get when you overcome these fears!

    Enjoy your journey darling.

    Thank you Portia.
    Gee, you’re up early!
Yes, I do usually go for control panties – they give such wonderful support, and keep the boys tucked well in. I do have a small problem in that area. I just adore that firm feminine completeness that control briefs provide. They are so sensual to wear!
I also love to wear shapeley tailored skirts, I tend to go for things that I know are too small, just to set off my hips. I always have to have a good supply of buttons as well as a wide belt to keep my waist cinched in. Not healthy I know, but until I am able to lose my tummy flab this will do for the short term. We are all after clothing that will not give us grief, especially for day wear. Under skirts and dresses I even love to wear a good pantie girdle!

When choosing shoes in future I shall have to go for 10s maybe.
I am male 8 1/2. Some size 9 womens do fit. I did find some that were 37 -38s and wondered about that. Why the &*#@$ do they have to be different??

It’s funny you should mention tight jeans. I raced to Big W intending to get black leggins, but was dissapointed I could’nt find any in a 12 or a 14 even. Gee they must sell out quick ’cause every chick wears them. I think they are absolutely delicious!! I love the look. Then it was closing time, – I pissfarted around that much deciding whether or not to take the plunge, that time had all but slipped away. However I remember seeing some faux stretch denim jeans in the cheap shop, so I flew off there, only to see the little chinese owner guy walking off home. I will get some soon though.
The young guy at Savers said they can’t get enough skinny female jeans ’cause all the BOYS come in and snap them up !! Hahahaha!

Jannine, now you have started you won’t stop! Most shops accept males buying female clothes with no comment and its amazing what you will buy when you become confident in what you are doing. Tomorrow I am going out to buy a new pair of boots….. I agree with you, leggings are very sexy.

    Hugs
