Does anybody know about the new injectable facial cosmetic surgery as shown on Channel 7’s A Current Affairs program last week?
I understand that the treatrment is safer than botox, cheaper and lasts about 18 months.
It seems like it might be a safer alternative to botox, collogen or surgery.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    regards to all, Julie :)

    Hi,
Yes I am looking into alternatives to Botox and similar or fillers

This may cost more than a botox injection but is natural

This is injecting ones own fat into other areas of the body, namely face.

When I reach my disired weight as weight can alter the facial fat I will probably spend 3-4K in getting fat injections in several places around the face.
This will enhance youthfullness and where directed support a more feminine face.

It is you own fat, so no foreigin products and it can be long term.

    A little input

Hi. I have been interested in this subject for a while now. I admit I dont know much, but a friend suggested to me cologen injections for my face. Its not permanent but is much cheaper.
Anyone know anything about pro’s and con’s of cologen ??

The story appears to be about stem cell enriched stomach fat being injected. The enriched fat is produced by taking fat out of the stomach by liposuction, then centrifuging it …the stem cells being heavier than fat cells gather in one end of the ‘test tube .This is wht is then injected into wrinkles to fill them out.The presence of stem cells stops the body absorbing the injected fat.Fat transfer has been around for over 50 yrs but without the stemcells, about 40% by volume of the fat is absorbed by the body
The same procedure is used in breast augmentation an dthis is getting popular in the US
the Dr to talk to here in Australia is Dr Bright at Liverpool – sydneys Liverpool who has done a lot of stem cell work …
