    Hi Girls,
has any one seen the news about Nicholes next movie ? heres a edited version of a press relaese :
Nicole Kidman to play post-op transsexual
The Australian actress will star in and produce The Danish Girl, based on the true story of Danish artists Einar and Greta Wegener, the Hollywood Reporter has reported.

Their marriage took a sharp left turn after Einar (Kidman) stood in for a female model that Greta (Theron) was set to paint.

When their portraits became wildly popular in 1920s Copenhagen, Greta encouraged her husband to adopt the female guise.

What began as a harmless game led Einer to a metamorphosis and landmark 1931 operation that shocked the world and threatened their love.

Anand Tucker (Shopgirl) is attached to direct the feature, adapted by writer Lucinda Coxon (Wild Target) from David Ebershoff’s 2000 bestseller.

His debut novel of the same name is a fictionalised account of the Wegeners’ true story.

Pre-production has begun on the indie film, but no details on a principal photography start date have been disclosed.

Both Kidman and Theron earned their best actress Oscars playing lesbian characters, in The Hours and Monster, respectively.

Kidman is also slated to play Dusty Springfield in a biopic about the bisexual English singer.

Should make our cause a bit more popular ? Or am I dreaming ?

Hi, wouldn’t it be great if a male played a transexual for a change? So often, in movies of this subject, a woman plays the part of the male to female transexual. In fact the only main stream movie I recall seeing a male acting the role was in ‘The Christine Jorgensen Story’. Are there any I might have missed?
And as for ‘Are you dreaming?”I’m afraid you probably are, sadly,

Terence Stamp in Priscilla, of course. But wouldn’t it be great if a transsexual played a transsexual for a change?

Hi Simone, Doh! I forgot about Terence, good role as well as very well acted too.
But my point still remains, they are so very few.
