Guest30/09/2009 at 10:49 amAfter seeing this item in magazines and reading some reviews on the internet I decided to spend the money and give this device a try. For those who havent seen it, it’s about the size of a mobile phone and quite weighty for its size. The No No works on the principle of using a hot wire blade that cuts the hair down to length. There are two blades included with the device, one for longer hair and one for stubble type hair.
After not waxing for a while I was curious to see how it performed. It takes a little getting used to at first as the hot blade is activated by a rolling switch and needs constant forward motion in order for the blade to work. Finding a steady pace takes a little while, in order for the blade to work at maximum efficiency.
As said before it takes a little getting used to and results are variable as I’m still learning to use the device correctly but it does remove both longer hair and stubble type hair, it can however require numerous attempts of the same area in order to remove all the hair and as far as I’ve been able to see it doesn’t leave your legs silky smooth, but practise and patience may yeild better results, also there is a strong burning hair smell when using the device.
The No No is supposed to reduce hair regrowth after a period of time and use. It also claims that hair can grow back finer, again time will tell if this is true. I’ll be patient with the No No and keep posting of my results over the coming months.

I bought one last xmas, initially thought it was working, but after 10 months have found no real result, possibly a little less hair on legs, nothing anywhere else, last lot of blades died a couple of weels ago & I’ve decided to not bother replacing them
back to epilating & shaving, sigh
